Welcome to Oak lodge
The cabin has 2 bedrooms, a family bathroom, a very large and pleasant open plan living area and an extensive garden area with outdoor furniture, BBQ, fire pit and private hot tub. The cabin is situated on our idyllic 3-acre site with resident pygmy goats & chickens!
House rules
✓ Sleeps a maximum of 5 people
✓ No under 21 group bookings
✓ No pets allowed
✓ No male only group bookings
✓ Strictly no smoking inside the lodge
✓ Check in from 3pm, Check out before 10am. Early check-in and a late check -out can be accommodated at an additional charge (if available).
✓ Minimum of 2-night bookings at the weekend and 3-night bookings during bank holidays.
✓ This is a quiet, rural setting and not suitable for loud groups/parties. Please be aware of this when making your booking
Booking and cancellation policy
You can view availability and pricing on Airbnb under Oak lodge, Littlebourne. Discounts will be offered for direct bookings.
We request £100 deposit to secure your booking with the balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. All bookings will incur a refundable damage deposit of £100.
Peak dates go very quickly, so do book early!
The space
The lodge caters for 5 people. An open plan living area has a well-equipped kitchen containing electric hob and fan oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, cooking utensils, a family dining area and a comfortable sitting area with wall mounted flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player and Wifi.
There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with king sized bed and a separate family room with both a double and single bed.
There is a large stoned garden area with charcoal BBQ, hot tub and fire-pit ideal for alfresco dining. The cabin is south facing and benefits from the sun from sunrise until sunset.
With excellent amenities close by including the local shop, large village green, outdoor play area, local village pub (all within a few minutes walk), stunning scenery leading to numerous beautiful walks and cycle routes, this cabin is ideal for a year-round family or romantic getaway.
Situated only 10 minutes from the historic city of Canterbury and on bus routes to the coastal towns of Sandwich, Broadstairs and Whitstable. Howletts zoo is only a few hundred metres from the lodge, you can regularly hear the sounds from the lions, monkeys and elephants. Wingham wildlife park is within a couple of miles.

Other things to note
You are welcome to bring your own firewood or purchase it on site for £5 per bag.
If you are using the bbq, remember to bring charcoal.
